Baseball Units???

I don't know much about baseball but everyone says it is about units from what I have read. Just one question I have is should I place all my bets in the form of (to win lets just use $20.00) for example so if it is +200 I would risk 10 to win 20 and if it is -200 I would risk 40 to win 20 not sure if the math is right

I don't know about anyone else, but if I'm betting a fav, it would be "to win" 20, if I'm playing a dog, I would "bet" 20 to win 40 (using the example you gave)

I see your point just looking for good way to bet on baseball keeping the units the same wheter I bet a fav or a dog

I think if its a dog u would bet $20. If your betting a favorite you would bet the amount required to win $20. This is what ive been doing..can someone clarify? Thanks

I'm no expert but I always assumed you would risk the exact same amount and take whatever the reward happens to be.

If 1 unit = $20 for me, I would risk $20 on every bet rather than risk so much more on a favorite. But I suppose you could do it either way, I think staying consistent is the key since baseball is a marathon for sure...

i enjoy and bet baseball every yr and have got a knack for it! It is by far my favorite sport. In my mind dogs and low favs r where all the cash is made and u better have a real good feeling or say nyy lost 2 straight and home to the royals and need to 3rd one to make the playoffs to lay -200 or more! (just an example bud). but i would play dogs for equal value to favs if u do your homework and like both games equally! Like today i am playing minn and oak like the fav better so bet it for 2 and oak for 1 but if oak was at home like minny and was the same dog it would be 2 units for me there too. Play smart and make money bud! GLTU
