Recapping last night's play.
As expected, the Braves bats exposed veteran Jamie Moyers age, as student (Jurrjens) shut down and shutout your defending World Series champs and teacher (Jamie Moyer) 4-0.
Bringing us to todays play.

Milwaukee Brewers - 110 over San Fransisco Giants

Brew Crew skipper Ken Macha gives Yovani Gallardo the ball today, and using the same formula I used last night (student schools teacher) I love Milwaukee in this spot.

The casual baseball fan says "Yovani who?", but the hard core baseball fan knows Gallardo is no flash in the pan and will be a solid #2 man in any rotation, and could be an ace is a couple of years.

Gallardo features a plus fastball, averaging 93 MPH topping out at 95, but it's a moving fastball that jumps.
To compliment his fastball, Gallardo also has a plus curveball that goes 12-6 that averages about 73 MPH, the type of Uncle Charlie that'll make your knees turn to jello if follwed up after a 95 MPH fastball.
Yovani also has a changeup he can use as an out pitch.
More importantly he has good command of all three pitches.

The Giants trot out soon to be Hall of Famer Randy Johnson, and with all due respect to the great one, he's done.
Johnson does not strike fear into batters any more, and this Brewer lineup will get to him early and often.
Conversely, the Giant lineup doesn't have the lumber to touch Gallardo.

I feel Gallardo is the next big thing, and if you get a chance, watch him.

3* Milwaukee please.

As per usual, thank you for taking the time to read this, and as always may all your tickets get cashed.
