Recapping last night's game.
Using the student schools teacher approach for the second straight night, Milwaukee Brewers next big thing Yovani Gallardo, defeated Hall of Famer Randy Johnson.
Not only did Gallardo school the unit on the mound, (going deep into the seventh, yielding six hits, five singles) Gallardo became the first pitcher ever to hit a home run off the living legend Randy Johnson.
Talk about helping out your own cause. (talk about helping out my cause)
Brewers with a solid Gallardo performance, and a lockdown bullpen effort win, 4-2.
Brining us to today's play.

LA DODGERS - 139 OVER SD PADRES
YTD 5 - 0
+13.5 Units
+ 1,300.00

It's not often I lay -139 on the road, I'll make an exception today as the Dodgers trot out their next big thing (Clayton Kershaw) to face the impotent Padre lineup.
Kershaw, in his first full MLB season last year faced the Padres three times, and all three times he defeated them easily, twice in September.
For those unfamiliar with Kershaw, he's a strike out artist, hard throwing lefty.
Many compare him to Scott Kazmir with better control.
The Padres hit a weak .200 off of Kershaw in those three games last year, (11-55) 8 of the 11 hits being singles, with the other three being doubles.
That translates into a pathetic slg pct. of .255.
The Pads only reached base 29% of the time against Kershaw as well, and there's no reason to believe the trend won't continue this afternoon.

Conversely, the Pads feature Kevin Correia.
To say his numbers were poor last season would be an understatement, as Correia was torched to the tune of a 6.05 ERA, and an ungodly ratio of 1.71.
Think about that for a second, 1.71 ratio is almost 16 baserunners per game, which translates into a truck load of potental runs scored.
I understand Correia had health issues early last year, and has talent, but he's nowhere close to Kershaw, and his supporting cast doesn't have enough lumber to carry him today.

Because I have to lay -139 on the road today, I'm making this a 2* play on the Dodgers.
Look for LA to roll here, say, 6-2.

As per usual, thank you for taking the time to read this, and as always may all your tickets get cashed.

Thank you sweety.
I don't sleep much, so at 4:30 am, I can devote 90 minutes - 2 hours to break down all the games.
Hope I can continue this.

All the best to you.
