Ok, I feel like i am getting roped into this play but definitely feel there is value in it. Carl Pavano has been hurt and terrible since he robbed the yankees for god know how much money...he is a typical signing by the tribe hoping he can het back to his 1 year wonder form as a marlin...IMO that is too much to ask in this park against these bats....and then we have brandon mccarthy who struggled with injuries with texas after being traded by the white sox...once again it is hard for me to believe he is back to any form (not that we ever saw any) that texas envisioned when they parted with john danks and nick masset to get him...that being said, kenny williams has a history of unloading supposed yoing "talent" that manifest injuries in a short time after a trade is complete (see mike sirotka, john rauch etc)
So bottom line...could one of these guys come out and throw 6 innings of 2 run ball?, sure..and that would lower the expectancy of this bet...but if they both struggle, this could be over early...and its not like it isn't a rich line for an april game already
