Oops! Employee flips boss' borrowed Ferrari

She's not hurt, but he's upset; crash involved a curve and high speed

BOULDER CREEK, Calif. - The California Highway Patrol said a 23-year-old woman driving an expensive Ferrari owned by her boss flipped it after taking a curve too fast, causing an estimated $125,000 in damage.
CHP Officer Elizabeth Addy said the woman escaped the crash Saturday without injury, but her boss was irate.
The unidentified woman apparently lost control after taking a curve at too high a speed, hit an embankment and flipped.

Addy said the woman was driving the car with the owner's consent.
The CHP said alcohol was not a factor.

What's the big deal? She had consent, she wasn't drinking, and insurance pays for everything.

Not sure what States are like that, But in NY I know for sure.

Maybe because it was Your Moms car ( Meaning being Related to the owner of the Car )

Because I think even here that might cause a problem.
( A lot of, well it's my Mom or Dad's car..and I was just Borrowing it )
When in Fact it really was being used by the kid ( Full Time )

WTF kind of insurance company is she with? The car is insured. Anyone who drives it with permission is also covered. And if it's stolen, that would be covered as well. So you got fucked.

Doesn't make any difference. If someone is using it to drive to work and they catch it, they will rate the vehicle according to the driver's age, driving record, and mileage to work. But it's still covered for anyone that borrows the vehicle.

How long ago did this happen? You need to put in a claim immediately.

You are the first person that I have ever heard to actually get screwed from an insurance company living in RI.

Usually it goes the other way in the Ocean State.
