Bookmaker payout....scandal or just a mistake?

I got a check for $3000 last night(March 31)...I made the withdraw on Sunday March 22(wrote down the wrong date on the other post)...took ten days I cant complain Ive never had a problem with bookmaker and although this was the longest its taken for me to get a withdraw I'm assuming it was because I did it on a Sunday night. I have had multiple withdraws from bookmaker and never had a problem.....until now I took the check to the bank they called me back less then 1 hour later and told me the check was fraudulent ....so now what? ok now ive been through hours of bullshit Ive had to fax a copy of the voided check to 3 different numbers yes my bank wrote VOID on the top of the check twice I have pictures to verify this. Ok so I did all this yesterday and they said ok call back tomm. afternoon so its today and I called back and they said call a number on the back of the check. There is no phone number whatsoever on the check either front or back I can verify this by scanning it too. And she also says that the check is from Canada or some BS when I can clearly see on the front of the check "Banco Citibank de Costa Rica, S.A."....so then I call back a few minutes later after trying to find the phone number on the check and talk to someone else and they tell me I have to physically send the check back to them? Then they say well don't take the check to your bank try going to cash checking place and I was like uhh i just told you they voided the check and reported it to some fraud department. I think im getting run in circles here either that our they just have a really unorganized customer service/payout department. Just finished up my most recent convo with them and they said to call back on Monday because they are having processing problems(most common excuse) and that they are going to stop payment on the check and reissue one Monday...how am I supposed to believe that when they told me that yesterday and now I'm getting run in the same circles over and over except this time they say call back in 4 days on Monday..and didnt mention anything about sending the check back when they had just asked me too...? I honestely feel like they may finally be helping me out but at the sametime Ive been running in the same circle for the past 2 days with these people, with them trying to make every excuse or tell me to do this or that to have nothing happen at all. I even tried to offer what I thought would be the easiet solution and have the $3000 put back into my account which has $4500 they got excited for a quick second then said that I was going to just have to get the check reissued Im assuming this was because they realized I already had plenty of money to wager with in my account and potentially lose back to them. Is there anyone out here in the forum who has had this same problem or can help me get this process actually started because I still havent really talked to anyone through customer service who knew what they were doing.

Well that explains it, you should have checked the rules before posting up.



5. One payout can be requested every 7 days. Requests may take up to 7-10 business days to process, unless you are a werewolf then you may not get paid at all.

Not really, no accusations here buddy, count to ten and follow their instructions, never heard of bookmaker stiffing anyone.

I havent actually claimed they stiffed me yet I just havent got the money all everyone can say is ohh ive never heard of that happening or oh your a liar I have copies of the front and back of check aswell the actually check itself I would be more than willing to prove myself. I even stated in the original post that I have had multiple other payouts that Ive never had a single problem with..this was my first time using the check payout and it may have been a simple mistake on their part Im just looking for anyone with information or an educated perspective on the matter. Youve never heard of anyone getting stiffed by bookmaker? I just got through reading a thread from about 4 months ago from a guy who had the same exact issue on a $3000 check I believe he finally got paid out almost 30 days after his initial request...I firmly believe I will get the money just trying to get some answers to these questions ..Im not on here to go attack bookmaker or make false statements...just looking for a little guidance. Who blew my werewolf status...? my brothers a vampire hows his payout status looking?

I guess Wil might be able to help. If you put it on the SBR forum (preferably with paragraph breaks!) there are a couple of CRIS reps posting there.

I ran into some of the same issues about a year ago with bookmaker. Was going to be done with them for good after that and had about $400 left in my account and figured I would just try to blow it. Long story short, I worked that up to over $7500 and in the past year or so, withdrawls have never been an issue and very fast.

That said, one more fuckup with any withdrawls (slow pays or a bad check) I will/would never go back personally and stick with other books.

If you deal with a book long enough...there is going to be a problem...not excusing it but that's the truth

Thanks man I guess these people really don't care unless its happening to them then they try to call you a liar like i would waste my time making some irrelevant post about not getting paid out..to anyone who thinks im lying I can prove it so unless your dropping your email in my PM then dont even bother talking shit on this thread....whalewager youve been the only one with decent help thank you i appreciate the effort...Il say it again I haven't officially said they stiff me yet they said they were going to stop payment on the check and reissue one on monday because the proccessor was down untill then..I may just be overreacting and Im assuming that this issue will be resolved at least some people find this information to be useful at least for reference and Its not like im the first person to ever post on here with a check that they had issues with from what they told me on the phone it happens randomly with about 1 out of every 100 checks and they also told me not to take the next check to my bank but to take it to a check cashing place instead.

I dont think i mention this in the original post but they had also spelled my name wrong by 1 letter on the check... they mention that this could very well have been the issue with the check considering it was foreign and for 3k

Defying- you will get your money don't worry about bookmaker they are perfectly legit in my eyes unless the day comes where I do not see this money. I have made other withdrawals through them in the past without issue at all...this was my first check withdrawal and I learn my lesson I'll be sticking with western union and moneygram like I did in the past the only reason I had gone with the check method is because of the small withdrawal limits on western and moneygram.. a year ago when I made a withdrawal on moneygram it was max $1500 not sure why it went down to $800...I had also considered doing the money wire but I found out the minimum for this was $5000 I didnt want to raise and red flags with a deposit of $5000 from a foreign bank account directly into my checking account.

Next time. do like I did and have them wire the money to you. A lot easier and trouble free.

whalewager-when they sent you a bad check did you have to physically send the check back or was the fax good enough?
