Had LA Dodgers -139 over SD Padres.
Don't you hate it when you break it down, handicap it to the point where the game plays out exactly the way you knew it would and lose never the less?
As expected LA Dodgers next big thing (Clayton Kershaw) totally dominated the Padre lineup to the tune of 2 hits, 1 ER giving Hollywood a 3-1 lead through the sixth.
Fast foward to the bottom of the eight, LA still leading 3-1, one out, nobody on, perfect 2-2 pitch to Gonzo at the knees for strike three gets called ball three, and the next pitch gets deposited over the fence for a dinger (seen that a million times in my life) making it 3-2 one out instead of 3-1 two outs.
Do I even have to tell you what comes next?
The other Gonzo triples, Hundley singles, Rodriguez doubles to make it 4-3 ruining Kershaw's brilliant effort.
But wait, there's hope.
LA down 4-3, top of the ninth, Orlando Hudson creams a triple off the wall for a leadoff three bagger, and the meat of the lineup to follow.
Surely Man-Ram can at least hit a sac fly to tie this up?
BUZZZ, wrong again meat head, try again.
Manny grounds out weakly to second, one out, Hudson has to stay put.
Heath Bell walks Ethier, first and third, one out, one of the games best hitting catchers Russel Martin promptly grounds into a game ending DP.

Question? What is Ponson still doing in the majors?
Yankee bats *own* Sidney to the tune of .308 batting average. And it's not like they haven't faced him before, that .308 average is across 312 at-bats.
Teixeira drools everytime he faces him (.556 8-15 4 RBI)
Jeter is 29-79 against Ponson .377 with 5 taters, Damon hits .346 against him, Matsui .333, Posada .302.
The only one who doesn't hit him is on the bench (A-Rod), so if you take away his .188 that .308 overall average shoots up to close to .320, and the .362 OBA climbs up to around .380
That's like 16+ baserunners a game.
Cripes, New York may cover that over by themselves, and once I see a TT run line (I suspect it should be 5 runs) I may plunk a couple of units on that as well.
Yankees feature Any Petttitte whose 20 game winning seasons are half a decade long gone.
Pettitte's ratio last year was above the league average 1.41, which is 14 baserunners a game (almost) overall KC has some thunder in their lineup at hit's Pettitte (.286)
All the numbers indicate a 8-5 game, and the 9.5 should be covered by inning number seven.
Will more that likely add on NYY TT over later when that number is posted, but for now it's.....
NY / KC over 9.5 for 3* please.
