Ponson did well for the Dutch national team during WBC, but overall is a below average pitcher in my opinion. His h2h stats against NYY are terible, with Jeter, Damon, Teixeira, Mastsui and Posada hitting him way above .300 (with decent power).
Pettitte also declined in 2008 and had some rough outings against KC in 2008. KCs offense is a tad unterrated imo and although the wind blowing in from LF should hurt flyballs, this game should go over...
