Hamels has the goods imo. He is just pitching hurt they should shut him down until he is 100% wouldn't be suprised to see him go on the 15 day DL.

I think he'll be fine. This was a tough spot for him. Coming off the dl, opening day for rockies, pitching in colorado against a good lineup etc...

LOL! Hamels a one year wonder? Dude, you should watch more Phillies games or more baseball or something. He's been bringing it since he came up. He'd have a lot more wins too if the Phillies would actually decide to bring their bats when he pitches. HAHAHA, I still gotta laugh though, one year wonder! LOL

I'm on the rox and the over today because I did not like Hamels in this spot. He's had some issues with his elbow and pitching in the cold in the rocky mountains could not help.

to call him a one year wonder makes you sound foolish. which was is one year? two years ago when he was an all star or last year when he lead his team to a title as the ace of the staff and WSMVP? I'm a huge mets fan and wish he was a one year wonder, but last year he put himself on the verge of being an elite pitcher (after johan, cc, lincecum, hollady, web)

he's 25 years old, hasn't hit his prime, but i think his career is over also. he should have retired on top, but the rockies clearly exposed him today.

CC, webb, Liriano, and all the other starters who got beat up in their first starts should just call it quits, or any pitcher that ever has a bad game.

Amen brother. And we should just pencil in the Rangers and Marlins to the World Series already after the way they played in their first series too right? LOL, some people on this site forget that there's almost 7 more months of baseball to be played.

i look for consistency with pitchers. Santana, Doc they are proven. They don't get rocked on the road...phillies are a joke. They had one good year where they put it together, thats it.
