That was a beautiful thing for anyone who truly understands baseball.

Figgins draws the lead off walk, steals 2nd base, moves over to third on a perfect groundball to second base, and then scores on another groundball to 2nd base. Ball never left the infield and they never got a basehit but they manufactured a run there. I like watching good baseball@)

Angels always play good-smart baseball, its so rare to see now a days. Funny part is, Ellsbury displayed how you don't run the bases a half inning earlier

And the Red Sox are exactly the opposite, non-fundamental baseball hope for a homerun. Swinging at balls, hitting into double plays. This team blows, and Pedroia comes back down to earth this year and hits 250 at best.

Your leadoff guy gets on and steals 2nd. You have the heart of your lineup coming up and you are impressed with 1 run? Good smart baseball doesn't win championships these days. You have to score runs especially when you are playing against a team like the Sox.

yeah.. thats way worse then the Boston 2,3,4 guys flying out on 7 pitches. :laugh:
