came to my attention from 3ptBuy that this system needed a good altering..so this is what were sticking to now..

if the Starting pitchers have the same First name letter.. choose the team with the first Last name letter closest to A..

Felix Hernandez over Francisco Liriano = Win
Josh Beckett over James Shields = Win
Jair Jurrjens over Jamies Moyer = Win
Joe Blanton over Javier Vasquez = Win
Ricky Romero over Rick Porcello = Loss (damn Y)
A.J. Burnett over Alfredo Simon = Win
Matt Cain over Manny Parra = Win
Jeff Karstens over Johnny Cueto = PPD
Jon Garland over James McDonald = Win
Scott Lewis over Scott Richmond = Win
Jeremy Guthrie over Jeff Nieman= Win

yah..3 pts came through at gave it a good tweak lol so ill run with that..somethin fun to take the studyin and the crunching a different way because no matter how many times you lok at somethin..in the end..you never know..so im runnin with this updated set of filters since the first one allowed for alot of ties due to names being the same length..lol like i said..if the Mets lose with Johan on the hill tommorow..im runnin with this shit all year just to track the record..

Your plays were 1-1 yesterday...Tampa Bay lost? Your thread said you took Niemann, but when it lost you changed system and the system play AFTER the game? I know you said you have now altered your system, but I don't know about changing your record/system after the fact. You can tweak your system all you want, but your record should reflect the play that you posted.

if the Pitchers have the same first initial..take the one with the 1st Last name initial closest to A... like today is (Josh Johnson over Johan Santana : J < S)
