Minnesota vs. White Sox

Nick Blackburn will be the starting pitcher for the Twins . Righthander Blackburn is 0-0 this season with a 7.20 ERA.

Mark Buehrlefor the White Sox ace lefthander has a 3.60 ERA to go along with a 0-0 record this season.

Bartolo Colon pitched six scoreless innings to lead White Sox to a 8-0 win over Minnesota yesterday.

Francisco Liriano picked up the loss for the Twins as he allowed five runs in less than five innings of work.

Minnesota hurler Nick Blackburn has come up empty in all 4 of his career team starts at Chicago, posting a 5.49 ERA in the process.Buerhle is 12-6 in his last 18 home team starts against the Twins hopes to improve to 10-1 in their last eleven games on Sundays today.
This game is being played in Chicago and that also spells bad news for Blackburn as he was woeful on the road last season (3-8 with a 4.97 ERA in 19 starts away from Minneapolis).

Boston at LA Angels

Beckett against the Angels? Sounds enterprising today against Dustin Moseley, a pitchers the Red Sox should wrap around pretty darn good today. The Red Sox after yesterday's win are now 12-3 against the AL West dating back to last year and are 38-13 in their last 51 games as a favorite of -151 to -200. They are 9-1 in Beckett's last 10 road starts vs. a team with a losing record and are 20-7 in Beckett's last 27 starts as a road favorite.

NY Yankees at Kansas City

Joba Chamberlain, hardly the king of NY after those comments came out midweek, makes his season debut Sunday as the Yanks try and complete a sweep of the Royals . Although he looked a bit shaky in spring with his velocity and penchance for giving up long balls, expect him to get on track right away today when the real games begin to count for the big righty. Meche, meanwhile, is 0-2 with a 4.75 ERA in his last six starts against the Yankees. He’s 3-4 with a 4.38 ERA against them overall in 13 outings. To be perfectly honest with you ,the Royals just can't bring nothing to the plate, they haven't produced any runs but 1 or 2 runs per,& that won't get ya anywhere fast!!
