Phil going into the water on #12 yesterday was not really the turning point for him in his round IMHO. The missed Eagle putt on 15 is what really knocked the wind out of his sails. Combine that with the missed birdie at 17. Both putts were very short putts. If he makes these "gimmies" he too may have been in the playoff.
Something simular to the barkley thing. I heard ford was gonna back out as one of his sponsers if he didn't square things up.
I also heard a couple of years ago he tried to get out of paying a bunch of side bets with members at augusta.
this could be all bullshit, its just stuff i've heard and I believe everything i hear.
