First the early plays, I may add more later.
2 UNIT PLAY
Tigers -120 - I like the Tigers here with the White Sox travelling. Detroit is swinging the bat well at the moment and I have never been a fan of Gavin Floyd. I think his season last year was a complete fluke (his .268 BABIP is solid evidence supporting my case).
Detroit's Zach Miner is a solid, steady groundball pitcher, who consistantly goes out there and gives you 6 IP with 1-3 ER at the most. He rarely has the big 5 or 6 run blowups. He pitched well against the White Sox last season.
1 UNIT PLAY
Nationals/Philles over 9.5 +100 - Stick a fork in Jamie Moyer, the year-after old veterans pull out a miracle season are usually not pretty ones. The Nats are playing hard and I see them playing even harder in their season opener. Washington has been torching lefties this year.
Daniel Cabrera is another one. They've been tweaking with his mechanics and although I generally like to see changes made to guys who've been struggling, usually this early in the season they get tagged up before they figure it out. Against a lineup like the Phillies, he's likely to get bounced around.
