Chicago WS/Detroit under ( small wager)

The LA Angels with Shane Loux should handle Seattle as long as Carlos Silva starts for the Mariners. Silva gives up a ton of extra base hits. Loux did not exactly stand out for Detroit in 2003, but much improved now. I am counting on Silva to give up at least 5-6 runs before they yank him. Angels -108.

Danks has all the essentials to be a good big league pitcher. He shouldn't give Detroit much more than he gave Kansas City(6 innings, 3 singles and no runs). He should have won that game, but for the lack of support from the rest of the White Sox, he got a no decision and the team got a 1-2 loss. His one Achilles heel is that he tends to give up "way too many" walks. Detroit starts Rick Pucello, a "rookie" that gave up 9 hits ( 7 singles and 2 long balls and 4 runs in 5 innings in his debut at Toronto. Chicago -130.

Chris Volstad, a 6'8" giant of a man at 225 lbs., will try to win his second game in a row this season when he faces the Braves in Atlanta at 7:10 PM tonight. Volstad is only 22 years old,and much the same as John Danks, he has all the weapons to be a good Major Leaguer. He gave up 2 singles to Washington in 5 innings on April 8th, but just like Danks he gives up a few too many free passes(4 in that game) but he is a power pitcher and he struck out 7. I think he will turn in a performance that will be good enough to get past Atlanta, especially since Atlanta is scheduled to start Javier Vazquez. Vazquez gave up multiple home runs on 9 occasions last year when he was with the White Sox. Believe me the Sox wouldn't have given him up if he was worth keeping. He also gave up 55 doubles and 8 triples to go along with those "long balls." I think they really blew it with this line Florida +138.
