Hmmm this line seems very odd. Roy Halladay the Jays best pitcher and I say one of the best pitchers in the league at only -128 tomorrow. This seems very odd.

Any thoughts folks?

Yeah, Halladay is a pitcher I usually back in any situation, but this seems a little off to me as well. These bets are usually aimed at people that Vegas likes to call "suckers", so I would tread extremely carefully on it. Watch the line movement as tomorrow progresses however. If it starts to climb, it might be a good idea to pound it. If it stays the same or goes down at all, think about hammering the Twins. GL with whatever you decide though.

I think the main reason for these odds are last years offensive numbers by Toronto: #25th in OBP, #27th in OPS, dead last in HRs and 2nd fewest runs scored against lefties.
The Blue Jays were one of the teams with the largest offensive dropoff in righty/lefty splits and like you can see they ranked at the bottom in nearly every offensive category against lefties in general in 2008 and Liriano is one of the tougher lefties in MLB (although his control still is shaky, which could lead to problems tomorrow).

Travis Snider won't be in the lineup tomorrow I'm assuming since they're against the LHP. Jays' offence might not show up then

Easy Cap here...

The reason the line is so low is because both pitchers cancel each other out vs the other's team.

Halladay is tough as nails and should shut down the light hitting Twinkies....

Liriano will do the very same to the Jays who can't hit lefties and can't hit period. Ok, they have hit this year but mostly against bad pitchers...

The Jays won't light up Liriano.

So, if you play this game you are playing or should I say PRAYING on one hit to go either way...

Does Wells or Rios get the double with folks on base or does Morneau get that single with a guy on Third. You are basically praying on a hit to go one way or the other....

The play is NO PLAY

Too much other value tonite than this one

You're right. They lit up that sieve of a bullpen . The Twins already shitty bullpen is gonna be depleted by the end of June if their starters can't go more than 5-6 innings.
