Wednesday: 4-4 (-$120)
GimmeDattts MLB YTD: 45-36 (+$4,445)
Journey to be a Pro: $44,445 (+$4,445)
2 straight small losing days. Shouldn't be hard to get that back though. In the mood for a few write ups so here is what I am playing tomorrow:
Washington Nationals +125 (Pinnacle)
The Nationals are off to a blazing 0-7 start but throughout the first 7 games have hit the ball very well. They had one glaring weakness; Lastings Milledge. The guy is in a world of his own, he may be the next Manny Ramirez (has actually been compared by scouts to him). The kid is whacked. Don't beleive me? Who shakes hands with fans after a homerun in the 10th? Take a look at a few of the catches he tried to make in center field. However, unlike Manny he wasn't hitting for shit. Just 4 for 24 and eating up at bats at the top of the order. Now he has been sent to the minors and I think without him this is a better lineup top to bottom. Elijah Dukes is taking over in center and the guy is just raw power. Plenty of tools and Guzman already has 17 hits on the year. Yup 17 hits in 7 games. They can put up runs against anyone and with Blanton on the mound the sky is the limit.
Has any pitcher fallen off as quick as Joe Blanton has? He was a quality pitcher for the A's and now seems to be the heir to the Sidney Ponson throne. This game should see its fair share of runs but I think this has all the makings of the Nationals first win of the year. May add the over tomorrow but for now just going with Nats.
