Danks has pitched very well against TB, especially in TB. last 2 starts are 13 IP with 1 ER. However CHI doesnt play well down there. Chicago has lost five in a row - including postseason matchups - at St. Petersburg. I just like this pitching matchup. TB is 1-4 SU in its last 5 against LHP. If CHI didnt suck so back down there this would be a larger play.
The white sox should be able to score 5 on Niemenn which I think will be enough. The CHW bats may come alive in a warm dome. They get out of the 40 degree chi and det weather

I will wait on the cubs game today. I need to see who is back in the lineup. Without Bradley and Ramirez that lineup has no pop, like they showed us yesterday. It is a nice day today in CHI however. If those guys are out the play will be on the cards, they already have the pitching advantage against Marshall.

Zito has had sucess @ LAD. SF is 3-1 in those games with Zito having decent outtings. His worst was 4 ER through 5. He beat Stults in 07 in LA.
LA is only 2-4 when Stults pitches at home and he was roughed up for 6 ER through 4 in his only start against SF. he is a fly ball pitcher and maybe SF can get a holf of a few tonight and win this one.
Rowand, Lewis and Schierholtz are a combined 9-12against him.

thank you. The matchup pitching wise is good for the sox. They need this one, they have garza, kazmir and shields coming up this weekend. Im starting to think twice about this play though, ive seen about 4 ppl on CHW and no one on the rays.....which i never like. The sox need to score, plain and simple. danks wont get rocked
