I've notified them of bad lines at least a half-dozen times over the years, and they've never given me a nickel.

Me too - them and probably a dozen other books. Probably pointed out 50 bad lines over the years, only once did I get anything out of it (BJ - imagine that). Most say nothing, some email back with 'the line is right' jab (well, yeah, it is now that you've changed it). Maybe 3 thank yous. That's it. I suspect they're free with the bonus if they expect it back.
