Pleasers

I realize that in the long run, teasers/pleasers/most parlays are -EV, but I just like sports betting for entertainment and excitement and am not making a living off it by any means.

That said, is there any time when I can minimize the -EV of a pleaser, or even perhaps make it +EV? Don't crap on me too hard. Particularly now, with only NBA playoff games around, is it a better or worse idea? Maybe pleasers on home dogs?

I can't remember the exact requirements, but yes, Stanford Wong has written a case for times when a 2 or 3 teamer makes more sense than straight-up. If you seek out his book, I'm sure its in there

5Dimes doesn't have any over/unders listed under pleasers, at least not right now--maybe a playoff thing? They offer the lines under pleasers, just no totals.
