When someone gets banned or is on post review, at least PM or e-mail them explaining why they got banned and for how long.

That´s the minimun I would expect.

All bannings are accompanied with an email with a reason that is automatically generated by the software with the reason typed in by the mod doing the actual ban.

Post Review notification depends upon the poster - veteran posters placed on post review for the first time should receive a personal email (or even these days a PM) with a reason.

Many new registrations do not receive this courtesy if they have suspicious registration information such as IPs from places like Russia, India, China, Ubekistan etc.

These "newbies" are almost always out to sell something and we place them on immediate Post Review to monitor their original posts, sometime we release the Post Review quickly if the original say dozen posts are all innocent and non soliciting or promotional.

Veteran posters who are placed on post review only have to recall the agreement they checked "yes I Agree" to when they registered to understand why they are placed on post review. The forum does have rules and we do enforce them.

Repeat offenders going on and off post review should unerstand why they are on post review or banned from a particular forum.

Jack the reason you are not allowed to post in the Offshore Forum results from the day you decided to treat that forum like the Rubber Room.

Thank you, wilheim
