The white sox struggles early on the score runs. It had to do with playing in the cold. Early April days in chicago and detriot with wind chills around 10 will slow bats. They went to Tampa and hit very well while scoring runs against Garza, Shields and Karmir. Quentin Dye and Konerko are on fire and the top of the order is getting on base. Its a nice day in Baltimore, I expect to see them put up 7 runs and Contreras to get hit around a little.
Contreras' ERA is a little misleading. He gave up 4 ER on 5 IP last game. But I watched that game, he pitched well. Left the game with 2 outs and bases loaded. Thornton came in and gave up a granny, charging Contreras with 3 more ER.
No white sox has been Bregeson besides Lillebridge in the minors. You never know how this is going to turn out with a new pitcher.

I love Galarraga. He has all but shutdown 2 of maybe the top 5 hitting teams in the AL in CHW and TEX. Granted they were both at home and this is is first road start. Last year he was 9-2 on the road. Detriots in the middle of a long road trip. They had a day off yesterday, should be ready to go.
The Tigers hit Weaver very well.

Texas has scored on Halladay in Toronto before. Last yr in April scored 4 to beat him with Padilla picthing. Also scored 4 on him 2 years ago. Getting a huge number. McCarthy has had decent start againt TOR in the past.
Another weird stat about McCarthy is he hasnt given up more than 4 ER on the road in his last 10 starts.
