Where would you guys recommend watching the Hatton/Pacquiao fight in Vegas if you don't have tix?

Theres almost always tix available for these fights because the brokers tend to overbuy. If I were you, I'd roam the hall in the MGM on the way to the Arena (the one with all the restaurants) you're bound to find someone that needs to unload them. If you strike out, watch it in the SB at MGM

Caesars

Mirage

Mandalay

And probably Billy Walters office. Got an uncle that's been to one of his shindigs, but not me. It's gotta be something to see.

will be pently of tickets available at mgm. just get their about 3 hours early and decide what you are willing to pay and as everone knows prices will drop closer to fight time. to get best price may have to miss some of the earlier fights. also will be some good eye candy walking around mgm before fight.

Has anyone here ever been to a big fight? I have always thought that it would be a lot of fun. Surely you have some good stories if you have been to one, please share.

I've been to a few both in Vegas and out. Been to Klitschko/McCline (Mayweather on same card, cant remember who he fought), Holyfield/Toney (the Real Deal's last major Vegas fight), Pacquiao/Marquez (first one), some Camacho fights and (my fav, best fight ever) Klitschko/Lewis :) couple others too.

There's nothing like it. Makes you feel like in Roman times, waiting for gladiators to enter. Tickets are *always* easy to come by, you just have to be willing to wait out the brokers and know the layout of the arena so you know exactly what you're buying. A street broker's definition of "ringside" is very loose :) I've sat both in the stands and ringside. Ringside is definitely more upscale attire while being in the stands is just like most other sporting events.

One thing I forgot to add, when going to a Vegas fight, who you go with is REALLY important.

First time I went, I went with my good friend and we watched about 90% of the WHOLE fight card, which is like 6 hours of live boxing - totally awesome! When you go with chicks, they just want to see the main event, so you could miss some potentially good fights. Example is the Klitscko/Lewis fight. I went with the same friend, but with a chick each, and we ended up missing Laila Ali's fight on the same card because the girls weren't ready yet. We still kick ourselves to this day for missing that!

So, decide if you're going to impress a chick or watch a lot of boxing - take your best friend if you want to see the entire card.
