While it has been suggested that we'd see some sort of T-800 in Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, one just had to wonder how they'd get Arnold Schwarzenegger
back in front of the camera. Besides being governor of the great bankrupt state of California, the actor-gone-politician isn't exactly the perfect example of physique anymore. So maybe seeing Arnold is out of question.

Not so! The Governator himself has confirmed that he will likely appear in the installment, but won't need to act. Wha?

Schwarzenegger Digitized for Terminator Salvation

It turns out that a body-cast was made of Schwarzenegger back during the original Terminator, which provided the basis of creating a digital version of him and his T-800 model. So we will in fact see him in the film, as a living, probably not breathing, character.

Schwarzenegger viewed the resulting footage and gave his go-ahead just in time for McG to include the footage before the helmer completes his cut of the movie.

Linda Hamilton Confirmed for Terminator Salvation

sarah-connor.jpg
Linda Hamilton has been confirmed for Terminator Salvation.
In February, the actress who played Sarah Connor in Terminator and T2 told MTV that she was in negotiations with director McG for voice over work. Her part would be to establish the setting like she had in T2 and lend more credibility to any remaining skeptics.
CHUD has confirmed she not only has signed for the voice work, but has already cut the audio and it’s attached to the opening sequence.
This is good news for more than just a familiar voice. Hamilton turned down a reprisal in Terminator 3 because she felt the filmmakers weren’t honoring the first two in the series. Her commitment, though relatively small, means she believes in the new installment that kicks off a new Terminator trilogy.
