I came up with something here, fade the high percentages where people are betting mostly on one team in the espn streak for the cash contest. seems like they list a lot of trap games. so, i will start today.

astros 5.1%
dodgers 94.9%
Play: Astros

Lakers 95.1%
jazz 4.9%
Play: Jazz

fade the high percentages!

Does Anyone In Here Know how to get the P-Value in the calculator, for stats class?

random question, i figure lots of you are good with statistics. i have stats test tomorrow and im not sure how to get it, hehe. please help me out!

Did you back track this with your method to have an idea how good it has been doing? They were keeping track of this in the service plays forum for awhile with NBA and NCAA. It was really hot for a while but than cooled off to around 50%. The rule was different though, take the side with under 40%. I Back tracked yesterday for MLB and through yesterday with that rule it was 28-23, who knows where the units are at though since your taking ML in MLB with big dogs and big favs sometimes. I did notice that during the hockey playoffs the higher percentage is correct on side and over unders. Last night was the first loss making it 7-1, just a little extra info.

interesting info, i dont have any stats for you guys, but im going to give this a shot. they put trap games up there all the time. like they put blazers and lakers up there once, for "who will win this matchup," and almost everyone was on the lakers, like 96% i think. and blazers won. stuff like that i will be betting on

im going to focus strictly on the games that a lot of people are involved in. the streak says "warm, warmer, hot etc." if its cold i will not do it. like the giants dbacks giants are 91% to win, but its cold, not a lot of people have picked it. small sample size. ill also mention if its warm, warmer or hot, so u can base how much u bet based off that. warm=1 unit, warmer=2 units hot=3 units
