Hey All,

Newbie to this form, but not a newbie in general.

My go-to pick today is in the Min @ Cle game.

--There's a lot of factors that make Minnesota look like a sexy pick, especially considering the moneyline on it. Blackburn was lights out in 4 games against the Tribe last year (3-0, 1.30ERA). He also has been a more effective road pitcher thusfar this year. Not only that, but Cleveland bats have been preferring LHP by a good clip. You also want to think that the Twins would like a strong rebound after getting shelled by Boston twice in a day and having a day off to think about it.

All that said.....it wouldn't be off-base to run out and put some down on Minny!

I thought about it, but I can't do it. I gotta go with the inconsistant Indians at home here. Although Blackburn has been a more effective road pitcher in limited analysis this year, he struggled away from home last year so something needs to give. Fausto Carmona has been suspect even though he is usually dominant out of the gate. He has something to prove in his first home start. Minny is missing their setup man let alone Mauer. I just think the law of averages will get the better or worse of a few people in this one and the Tribe pulls away with it at home.

Thoughts?
