Missed a week. I've been swamped with articles but am all caught up for the time being. I've been tracking the games but just have not been handicapping them so no worries about the missed time. It takes an hour or more out of my day to handicap this stuff and I just haven't had the time but I am okay now.

Overall Record: 28-29 -3.53

Plays coming soon.

My lines:

Braves -135, U9 -112
Mets -175, O9.5 -116
Cubs -115, O10 -125

Bets:

Cubs/Cardinals Over 9.5 -115

Pitchers: Marshall/Boggs

Marshall is a very average pitcher who generally avoids getting completely rocked but always gives up runs and the hot-hitting Cards did decent against him a few games ago. Boggs is a prospect but simply does not have his command yet and the Cubs should put up some nice runs. Both bullpens have issues. This one should sail over.

My lines:

Astros -165, U9.5 -112
Marlins -200, O8.5 -120
DBacks -140, U8 -118

Bets:

Houston Astros -141

Pitchers: Hampton/Suppan

Suppan is past his prime and the Astros have some sluggers that can get to him. Hampton pitches very well when healthy and avoids giving up home runs which will do well against the Brewer free swingers. Both pens are bad but Milwaukee's is slightly worse.

Florida Marlins -145
Pitchers: Volstad/Chan Ho Crap

I've been huge on Chris Volstad since before spring training and he has not let me down. The Phillies are not hitting that well and Volstad doesn't give up many home runs. Florida doesn't have the best offense but Chan Ho Park is one of the worst major league starters and will give up runs to everyone.

Arizona Diamondbacks -125
Arizona/SF Under 8.5 -110

Pitchers: Scherzer/Johnson

Scherzer is a dominant pitcher when on and the Giants can't hit anyone right now. Look for Max to dominate. Randy Johnson is hard to rely on and is good to give up a few runs despite his dominant effort against the DBacks last time out. RJ struggled on the road earlier this season and Arizona should time him better after seeing him. Hopefully the bullpens keep it under. 3-1 DBacks.

My lines:

Rockies -140, O10 -122
Padres -130, U8 -115

Bets:

Colorado Rockies -120
Pitchers: Jiminez/McDonald

Ubaldo is the type of pitcher the Dodgers hit well but I think he'll rebound from his last time facing that team and pitch much better at home. McDonald has potential but is not pitching very well and is not ready. Second time the Rockies see him, plus at Coors, they should hit him a ton better.
