I am tracking my picks on New York Yankee games for the 2009 season.
The Yanks are a great fade because they are almost always favorites. In my opinion, the team is not that good, despite all the brand names on the field. I also think the yankees are jinxed, by a toxic combo of hank steinbrenner, alex rodriguez, & various 2004 ALCS red sox artifacts still embedded in Yankee Stadium concrete that have not been discovered.
But when i think they will win i will pick them. This is not a hate the yanks thread, just an effort to make money off their games.

4/27 - Yanks play in Detroit after having got swept in Boston. I think the pitching matchup Verlander/Sabathia is a wash. I would give Detroit the edge because they are 4-1 at home & the Yanks bats may be a bit off with a night game & road travel overnight.
Pick Tigers +112 for $100 risk.
