Seattle/Chi Soxs UNDER 9 (-120): Both these teams rank in the lower 3rd in the majors in hits. If you look at the Soxs last 5 games and take away the 10 runs they scored against the Jays, you'll see they've combined for only 7 runs the 4 games prior. Seattle offensively are a mess as their OPS ranks 2nd last, their 4 runs per game ranks 26th, and their 14 home runs on the season are 3rd lowest. Defensively however they are very good only allowing 3.5 runs per game which is 3rd best in the majors Bedard goes for the Mariners and he's only allowed 6ERS, 3 walks and has 29K's in 25 innings of work this season. Gavin Floyd for the Sox has some inflated numbers (15 ERS, in 23 innings and a WHIP of 1.73) but those numbers came against some decent offensive teams in Toronto, Detroit and even Tampa. Im depending on Bedard to keep this total low, and if he fails then im hoping the Mariners #4 pen will help me out.

DETROIT +124 over Yankees: Yankees had zero hits and zero runs Tuesday night untill the 7th innings when got 10 runs! "One innings does not series make IMO". Yankees still allow the most runs against per game with 6.18, while defensively the Tigers rank12th allowing only 4.26. Yankees had been swept by the Red Sox, and had lost their first against the Tigers before Tuesday nights game, while the Tigers had a mini 3 game win streak going. Chamberlain for the Yankees is a gas tank so far this season with a WHIP of 1.93 and a Pen that ranks 3rd last in the majors to help him out. Porcello for the Tigers only has 3 starts on the season but all 3 came on the road as this will be his first home game of the season. His numbers aren't outstanding but in 18 innings he's only allowed 3 walks and has 11 K"s averaging 6 innings per start. Tigers pen ranks 10th in the league and i think they have enough to beat the Yankees here.

DODGERS +134 over SF: I can't believe the nice takeback on the Dodgers in this one. Sure SF have won 6 of their last 7 before Tuesday nights game with the Dodgers, but those wins came against Arizona and San Diego. Fact still remains that desptie Lincecums nice numbers SF gives him ZERO run support. Giants BA ranks 26th, their 3.6 runs per game is 2nd worst, and their 11 HR on the season is also 2nd lowest in the league. Dodgers have some nice bats as their BA is 3rd best in the league. Their 5.7 runs per game is 6th best their 15 stolen bases ranks them 6th and their 197 hits are 3rd most in the league so far this season. Speaking of Lincecums nice numbers, get a closer look! He has 35 K'S but 25 of them have come in his 2 starts against an Arizona team that is LAST offensively in the league. Infact, look at his numbers and take away his 2 starts against Arizona where he inflated his stats, and you'll see he's just above ordinary, and those two other starts came against the Brewcrew whos bats rank 21st and SD who are an average 15th best offensively. I think the Dodgers light up Mr. Lincecum tonight, and are well worth the taking at plus the money.

Add on....

Boston "TEAM TOTAL" OVER 4.5 (-118): We are talking about a the Tribes Pen which ranks 26th in the majors here and a pitcher in Carmona who has an era of 7.36 up against a Boston team that ranks 5th offensively. In Carmonas defence, 3 of his 4 starts have come on the road, but he's still allowed 26 hits/12 walks in 22 innings of work for a WHIP of 1.72. This will be the best offensive team Carmona has come up against this season (Tex, KC, Yankees and Minny) and he only averages 5.5 innings per start.
