Yes, I have a license:
- Take the classes and have fun with it. But also realize that the classes have little to no relation to what you'll actually be doing in a real estate transaction. Just take the classes to pass the test and then learn from a good broker
- Realize that there is an ENTIRE INDUSTRY out there that does nothing but prey on new agents. You don't need fancy tchotkes or books or "systems". You just need a stack of nice business cards and the wherewithall to meet people and talk about RE. Pass out your business card like its going out of style
- You should read "21 Things I Wish My Broker Told Me" and "Millionaire Real Estate Agent". These two will have *everything* you need
- Some RE agents are the scum of the earth, others are really good business people. Be one of the good ones
