MLB Home Team "System" 2009 Thread

Worked pretty well last year, decided to start it up now this year.

To qualify as a play, Home team must have:

Better record than Away Team
Better Home Record than the Away Team's Away Record
Better SP ERA than Away Team's SP ERA
Better Record in the Last 7 Games

May add/change some qualifications as we go, or if you have any good suggestions.

May 1st:

Toronto Blue Jays –250 (-1.5, -120)
Los Angeles Dodgers –130 (-1.5, +155)
San Francisco Giants –115 (-1.5, +155)

Whats up man. Looks like a pretty good and simple system. When you say it worked pretty good last year. About how good is pretty good if you could answer that?
I think I might start following this system just betting a small amount on each game that qualifies.

Well all the picks are usually big favorites... That leads to having to hit at a higher % to profit. It hit about 60-70% I think.

SA, I'm assuming this a different sys. than what got you to 15-2. Will you put " offical" in the thread titles for the days to come, or is this system taking over at this time of year?

ouch... 1-4 so far, 1 pending...

I think that "Better SP ERA than Away Team's SP ERA" may need to be more complicated.... Maybe include W/L Record or something.... suggestions?
