That happens a lot in the NBA, where a team's star player gets injured, suspended..whatever. Then I think bettors have a tendency to think that team is in deep trouble. But usually in that situation, other players step up and pick up the slack. Of course, most players in the NBA don't have any trouble scoring the ball, they just never get an opportunity if they play with a star or two.
funny when i was listening to espn radio on the way home yesterday, they were saying they didnt see how Orlando could "even stay in the game" without Lee and Howard....said that Philly would outrebound them by almost double, etc.....made it sound like it owuld be a 30 point win for Philly...
