Haven't done any good as of late & hope that things start to change for the
better.I don't wager but try to bring winning plays to this forum,& when i don't
succeed i take it personal.Let's get busy!!

San Diego at LA Dodgers

The Dodgers host the Padres when Randy Wolf matches serves with Chris Young in this neighborhood NL West Division rivalry tonight. The key to this contest is that Wolf is in commanding KW form with 3 walks and 19 strikeouts in his last three starts while Young can't seem to find the plate, issuing 11 walks against 8 strikeouts in his last three efforts.

The Dodgers, who are a perfect 8-0 at home this season, have prevailed in 10 of the Padres’ last 13 visits.

The Padres have dropped nine of their last 11 overall, and starter Chris Young has a 9.88 ERA in three road starts this season, allowing 29 baserunners in 13.2 total innings.

Wiz's pick:LA Dodgers***************************************

Kansas City Royals at Minnesota Twins

The 2009 Kansas City Royals are not just your every year doormat team. They are 12-11 so far and have been very competitive. From the plate they have been decent overall. Mike Jacobs has with four home runs and has added 13 RBIs. Catcher John Buck has three homers and a team leading 15 RBIs. David Dejesus and Coco Crisp have played fairly well and the rest of this team actually shows up to play every night. Weird to think, I know. Tonight’s starter is Brian Bannister who has been brilliant in his first two starts going 2-0 with a 0.69 ERA. The two wins came at Cleveland and against Toronto.. Those are two very formidable opponents. Mike Jacobs will need to play a big part in this game.

Tonight Minnesota sends young Glen Perkins to the mound. Through four starts he is 1-2 with a 2.48 ERA. That shows you he has pitched very well but has gotten no run support to speak of. Last season Perkins was fantastic going 12-4 and showing signs of possible stardom. He started one game against Kansas City last season and picked up a no decision going five innings allowing one run on four hits. The key player for the Twins tonight will be their big bopper Justin Morneau. Like Jacobs on KC, runs will be at a premium and every RBI chance will be crucial.

The Royals are 7-2 in their last nine Saturday games. The Twins are 43-18 in their last 61 home games overall.. The Royals are 4-9 in the last 13 meetings between these two teams and the UNDER is 11-5-1 in the last 17 meetings. I truly believe the Royals will be a tough opponent for the entire season. They are showing signs of chemistry and true care for winning baseball games. Bannister is underrated as Perkins is as well. When you analyze this game it matches up like a toss up. The value is enormous here. Ring the bell,I got our SATURDAY UNDERDOG SPECIAL.

Wiz's pick:Kansas City+135 & UNDER 9
