I would say that in probably 40 of the 50 states it would be a football player. Football is the most popular sport by a mile. Sure in the northeast baseball is the most popular and in some places out west basketball is #1, but in most states football is king

Just going to put this out there and see what you think about it. If you go to google and type in Dwyane Wade you get about 3,200,000 hits. Dwight Howard gets 3,400,000 hits. You type in Tiger Woods you get 30,400,000 hits. Even Morris Jones Drew gets over 4,000,000 hits.
