First week in June, 4 days with my sister.
Flying into Oakland and renting a car.

What wineries should I see?
Any tours so I can get pissed and not drive.
Is Sonoma better? Petulama? Napa?
Looking at a mid range for costs.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanxs

Sonoma is very good, Napa will be the priciest I'm fairly certain, but you'll have a great time on any of them, wine tours are the best.

Didn't know steak was such a sloppy dresser. His shoes laces aren't even tied.

I see they charge a fee, I am more a drinker than a taster.
Just going for fun.

Decent bang for the buck?

I go in September quite often. My advice is don't try to take in too many wineries in any one day. Visit wineries that offer tours. My favorite is visiting the caves at the new Del Dotto. Fantastic wines and tasting. Most of the finer wineries require advance bookings for their tours. Krupp Brothers will take you up in their Jeep to the top of the hill and show your their vineyards and you will have a wine tasting with a view of the entire valley and you can even see the skyline of San Francisco on a clear day. I used to just show up and hit as many as possible but I'm into the fine Cabs and I substitute quality vineyards for quantity.
A list of the really good ones include Stag's Leap, Darioush, Silver Oak, Hartwell, Swanson,David Authur, keever,Paraduxx, Plumpjack,Oh I could go on and on but that is a good start of some of the finer ones.

I've lived in Sonoma County for almost my whole life until recently, If you want to go on a great wine tour that will be cheaper then napa and has some of the best wineries, then go take a wine tour in Healdsburg theres a couple companies that will take you around to all the wineries where you can taste wine all day. Look up Healsburg wine tours on google or something.
