Time to discuss hedging.... Red Sox game just went OVER and Cubs look good, but Ive got 1 unit on Astros already. What do you all think I should do on the two late games. I have about an hour to figure it out.

Both are vulnerable. Zimmerman is Nats best pitcher and who knows if Dodgers head will be somewhere else. Jays are just on fire and are scoring in bunches. Weaver isn't exactly great either so Jays could light it up. But, both could win as well. Since its such a small amount at risk, I'd let it ride personally. Even if you hedged by taking the Nats and Jays and they split, you end up at about the same spot anyway. You would need both Nats and Jays to win in order for the hedge to pay off.

Letting it ride! $13 to win $1200 is a lottery ticket anyways! Lets go LA teams!!!! :toast:

It may pay off if you let it ride, but you could have got some guaranteed money out of it. Dont be greedy, take the guarantee sometimes. Talking about a small hedge, like 150 or so on the two underdogs late. Something like that. But it looks good for you right now.

The Dodgers game is a prime example of why at the end of a big money parlay, you take the guaranteed money. If you bet 400 or whatever amount on Washington, you are going to win at least the amount you wager, or win the parlay. You are guaranteed to make money, and in this field, you better take the guaranteed money. Guys get greedy and let stuff ride and then end up losing the whole thing.

I hope the Dodgers pull through for you man.

would have been hard to hedge with the cubs not final, u could have taken both late teams opponents, but if the cubs blew lost all 3, and the game was close until the 9th

Didn't see this till this morning.. and it won't do you any good at this point forward except the future.. you came close.. but in a situation like that.. where hedging involves two underdogs.. you have to hedge in that situation to walk with atleast something in gaurentee money.. best of luck in the future..

I feel your pain..Dodgers screwed me in the last game of a 6team parlay..Went to bed up 6-0 and wake up to that bullsht....Had 40 bucks on it and would have payed 1500.00!!!
