Phillies -126: I watched Chan Ho Park get into a pitching duel with Santana in his last start. Park pitched much much better in that start and the announcers noted that he was simply throwing more 1st pitch strikes and getting ahead and it made a world of difference. It could easily be a catalyst for him to more or less return to his better form.

The Phils are also at HOME and facing a lefty and they are 6-2 vs Lefties on the year and at the price of -126, you are getting a VERY good risk/reward relationship. The dodgers are Manny-less, much worse on the road, traveled across the country, and lost a piss you off extra innings game in their last appearance....

Texas -154: The Rangers are at home and VERY hot, while seattle is on the road and VERY cold. Texas is another team that hits lefties won 5 of 8 or 63% vs lefties and they get to feast on a weak one tonight...

Coloroado RL +110. The O/U in this game predicts there will be runs scored tonight in coors field, and I think their pitcher Jimenez the sinker baller is better than his ERA dictates. I very much believe the rockies have the better pitcher tonight, that they win, and that they probably win by more than 1. I'd say the chance of that happening is above 50%, while the payout is +110. Houston is nothing special on the road and has a much weaker pitcher tonight....

Cleveland -150: Cleveland has won 75% or 3/4 games ve lefties this year and they are at HOME facing a weak lefty. I'm not sold on their pitcher either and this could turn into a slugfest, but the white sox hitting has been very unimpressive this year and Cleveland is an underachieving team that should play hard. I like the Indians to beat up on the chisox like Texas has been doing.

Yanks +125: Burnett faces his old team and people will argue both ways, but it's always a big game when the yanks come into down, at +125 I like the bet as he could possibly pitch as well as halloday ( or he could get rocked).

Toronto is on fire vs lefties (7-1), but only 15-11 vs righties so that helps out Burnett. The Yanks are alright on the road and have seen halloday before.

Some will argue no Jeter hurts NY, but they are soon to forget that the Yanks had A-Roid inserted in their lineup so I think you actually get some favorable price on this and I'd much rather have A-Roid in the lineup than Jeter.

SD +120: I have Rich Harden starting tonight for my fantasy team so part of this is even really a hedge, but Peavy hasn't been Peavy so far this year and he's an absolute ace. He's the kind of pitcher that could toss a shut out, so to get him plus money is nice. The reason why he's plus money is because SD might have the worst hitting in the league, and the Cubs have a good pitcher on the hill as well. I'll take Peavy and the plus money and hope for a low scoring game but even if I lose Harden gets me fantasy points... This is probably my least favorite play...

The Phillies are my best bet.
