What? That shot hit the rim?

You have to be kidding me? I saw no evidence that the ball even grazed the rim.

That was a huge call too. They give the Celts the ball back with almost a full shot clock. Wow.

And Im not talking about the Ray Allen shot. That clearly hit.

Im talking about the Rondo air ball before that hit nothing but the front of the net.

At least from what appeared on all replays.

This Magic loss is on them though. They choked big time as a team down the stretch.

I thought that shot changed direction a little bit. But Reggie Miller said it best, "you need to box out".

Very close though, suprising to see it overturned.

Hate the celtics, but I think that ball hit the rim, although the replay angles were awful.

Watching it live I didn't think it hit the rim. However based on just about all the replays it look like it hit the rim. It definitely change trajectory on its way down around the rim, and I don't think the net could cause a change that great.

The trajectory changed because it hit the net IMO. It didnt change that much. Just barely.

Like I said, I dont care. It was just a very tough overturn for the Magic at such a crucial time. They didnt take care of business. No fault but their own.

I saw a replay a couple days ago (don't remember the game) that showed a ball changing direction but there was space between the ball and the rim.

Perhaps the camera lens is faulty or else someone opened up a window.

I had Boston but the ball hit the net, not the rim. Bad call.

was there - couldn't tell live. I think the refs changed the call 'cause of the Celtics reaction... But ya, both these teams are looking for ANY EXCUSE to lose these games, and giving eachother EVERY chance to win. Until one of the two really steps up and plays to the best of their ability for 48 minutes I can't really say either team deserves to move ahead... Just give the Cavs the east.

Yeah they changed it because of reaction. Refs do this all time nowadays. If you react the right way the call may get changed for you. Teams should probably be teaching how to react to get a call changed in your favor. Terrible trend. NBA refs suck.

#1 The ball didn't hit rim. That was the net changing the path of the basketball.

#2 Reggie Miller saying the Magic need to box out. Really? The hardest shot to rebound in basketball is an airball. Davis was boxed out, he was pretty much underneath the basket. The only shot he could've rebounded was an airball.

I had the Magic for the game, so I was hoping the ball was air but I thought it nicked the rim. I do know the Magic have totally given the last 2 games away. IMO Van Gundy should be Van Gonedy if the Magic lose this series. He does not know how to finish a game and as a result neither do his players.
