ok i guess that i am from the old school when tere use to be odds on the baseball games.if st.louis is + 135 and pitts is -155 and i want to bet st.louis what are the odds?

For that scenario, you are betting the ML, and if you put down 100 dollars and win you will win 135. Or put down 10 and win 13.5, etc.

+135, you win 135 by betting 100. you need to lay 155 on pitts to win 100.
