It's too much. It really is. Watching close game after close game after close game. It becomes quite stressful.

I have not enjoyed a big time game to full extent since game 6 of the Celtics finals last year.

couldnt have happened to a shittier city

Just curious why you say that.

I have never lived there, but have many friends that do, and they
love it.

I also love visiting Boston, what a great historical city, as well
as one of the greatest sports cities in the US if not *the* best.

fans are fake, they come out of the wood works when their team finally does something, then they act like gods gift to the world. never use to see anyone wearing redsox gear 10 yrs ago outside the area, now everyone and their mother has a sox hat on in Kansas and Nebraska.

What does that have to do with the actual city of Boston?

And, the actual fans that have been lifetime fans?

Yup. Well said Zit. Beautiful city with lots of important U.S. history. I hold my head up high about that place. The structures and architectures of many of the buildings and the important past events that took place here. Bordering the atlantic ocean, and all it's interesting historical islands. It's something no one fully understands unless they have seen it for themselves.

If you want a good dose of euphoria, visit Boston.

You said the city was shitty.

You're calling a whole city shitty because you don't like their
baseball team.

The Patriots don't even play near Boston.

Man, if you can't walk along the Freedom Trail in Boston, viewing
all the amazing historical sites, and then have a bowl of clam
chowder outside Feneuil Hall - I feel sorry for you.

nobody cares about the bruins in boston anyways.

i was using my laptop and had espnnews on. wasnt paying attention, saw out of the corner of my eye they were showing highlights of the game.

so of course my first instinct was to grab the remote and change the channel. the one second of the highlight that i saw as i was switching channels was the 2nd period, and you could see tons of empty seats

I nicely asked you why you felt the city was shitty, and you mentioned
the fans in Kansas and Nebraska - and also said their fans were fake.

And, now you're admitting you don't like any of the teams while
calling me an idiot.

Whatever dude.

I would not live anywhere but New England.

Turned down a 20% raise to go to Ohio and a 45-50% raise to work in Colorado.

Maine is the most beautiful state in the US and Boston is the city with the most character. If the rednecks hate Boston, that's fine with me. Wouldn't want them next door anyways.

this thread is about the god damn teams from boston, not the physical or historical history of the city. i dont like the teams from there, i dont like the fans of those teams, so from a sports aspect it couldnt happen to a shittier city. for some reason you want to get into clam chowder and your nature trips u enjoy there and seem offended that i dont like the city when im simply commenting on sports and you feel the need to read much deeper into it.
