Hollywood Saturday night. H'wood is kind of boring if you don't have a specific club or concert that you're going to. If you just want to walk around and check it out.... Hollywood Blvd between Highland and Vine is your best bet. You might be better off going to one of the many entertainment complexes like LA Live, The Grove, etc. Or Downtown Disney in Anaheim (bars, restaraunts, etc.) Your pretty central in Pico Rivera so you're almost just as close to North Orange County as you are to alot of LA.
Skip Venice and head to Orange County and Hit Huntington & or Newport Beach. Hotter chicks, better waves, more to do (Pier/Main Street in Huntington, Balboa Fun Zone/Marina in Newport.

You will experience "June Gloom" during the time you are here. That's when there are low-lying clouds during most of the morning which burns off later in the afternoon. So if you are planning on getting some sun you may want to go in the afternoon.
Here are some attractions toward the Huntington Beach area which is known as "Surf City USA". Like HAT mentioned, better looking girls plus it's the center of the surf culture of Southern California.

thanks QL and Hat i will be arriving 4th around 7 o clock and will be leaving on monday at noon so i will have 3 days to do as many things as i can (i know not enough time) this time im lucky enough to go alone (no g/f) with my brother so def will check out the beaches and clubs, will be back by the end of the year (december-january) cause my nephew will be born around those dates but g/f will be going with me so that trip will be going to disney and that sort of stuff
