Yankee tickets are selling way below face value

My daughter paid $ 11 on Stub Hub for $ 40 seats

I just purchased & received four Field Level seats for a total of $ 400 on Ebay. The face value of the tickets is $ 350, or $ 1,400 total. the seller had a Buy it Now price of $ 699, but I offered $ 400 and she took it.

It is for tomorrow's game, so she was running out of time.

tickets to the old Yankee Stadium almost never went for below face value.

I think the economy is keeping some people away, and the horror stories about ticket prices have scared others off.

if you want to go see the new stadium, wait to the last minute and buy them off of Stub Hub or Ebay.

Heard an interview on ESPN radio yesterday (Mike Tirico show)...forget who was commenting...but he offered that with more than a few employees either taking pay cuts or missing out on anticipated pay increases, there's a core of higher level corporate management who are not using their seats. He suggested that these execs don't want to be seen in their highbrow seats by television cameras because it's demoralizing to members of their work force

Any Yankee fan wanting to see a pair of games in July can get field level seats (first 20 rows) for $50 a game.

In St Petersburg at the Trop vs Rays

Fly down on Tuesday and return on Thursday (July 27-29)

Go to the beaches in the daytime

Visit TwoBuks sports pub on the back side after games
