Baltimore has been hitting the ball pretty well lately and the Royals can't seem to manufacture runs. I know they scored 5 last night, but even with Bannister on the mound that wasn't good enough. When you have your 1 pr 2 pitcher going, you should be able to win with 5 runs. I do not like them minus 1.5, not because of Grenke(he's a stud) but because of their lack of offense. I like the royals to win the game though...Just not enough to bet on them tonight.

My favorite play tonight is the Mets/Giants over of 8. Go with your gut on the Royals, but they're on massive tilt.

The O's bats have been hot hot hot lately. Obviously Greinke is nasty, but honestly there's no way he keeps up this pace all season. This could be his first imperfect start given the Orioles hitting. To me, Bal +1.5 (-110) is a steal.

thought about the O's RL, but think this is going to be one-way traffic, and its not going to be a 1-run game. both ways.

Royals this season playing at Home immediately After a Home Loss are 3-2 with all three wins by 2+ runs.

Meanwhile, Orioles playing Away After a Road Win are just 3-8 and all eight losses were by 2+ runs.

Roll it back into last season and they've won just 6 times in 23 such chances in this role.

The above noted, it's pretty hard to figure you can get much value on a Greinke home start at this point in the 2009 season.

Wouldn't touch that. Greinke can be deadly, and he's at home. I like the combination of the royals and the over tho. 2 units on the over one on the royals to hedge the bet.

We're not touching this game at all though. We like the mets over 8 and nats over 9.5. Both very solid bets

Going back to beginning of last season, Orioles playing Away After Scoring 7+ runs in preceding Away game are just 4-17. When graded at +1.5, they're 8-13.

Of potential interest will be Saturday's game, the third of the series.

Orioles are just 6-23 in Game3's Away since beginning of last season. And the price for KC (Davies) should be quite a bit more attractive than today's -210 with Greinke

I like the over to be honest. With how the O's bats have been swinging, and the Royals bullpen (if Greinke finally has a human game) I think they can get 3-4 in this one. And for the KC offense, nothing gets the hits going like playing Eaton. He's lucky to give up 4-6.

Grienke is 0-2 with a 10.13 ERA in three starts and two relief appearances against the Orioles.

best home favorite on the board tonight is Detroit imo w/ Jackson against a winless rookie line has moved 20pts.
