Who is taking their 5k from the rainout and betting it on Toronto Blue Jays ML -118 with me?

My earlier $5000 wager on Houston ML +132 was voided due to rainout and I have to spend it on another one of my plays tonight. I have been on fire with my 5k wagers and see no reason to stop here as long as I am winning.

The odds are not ideal here but the Blue Jays are not losing this game no matter how much you try and convince me otherwise. I am a Blue Jays seasons ticket holder, I go to most home games and will be in attendance very shortly with my money in hand. It's also very rare that I bet on my teams because personal feelings often interfere with betting habits and the two just don't mix. This is an exception. Pitcher Brett Cecil is the real deal and I think he is going to shine even more in his third Major League start. So far the rookie has made his way up the system pretty fast and has already pitched better in his two career starts than he did his entire Minor League career. What a price we are getting on a team that is coming off a tough loss at home and that is going to field one of their best lineups of the year tonight. The fact that Travis Snider, Adam Lind and Lyle Overbay were out of the lineup last night and the team scored only 2 runs tells me that the play tonight is:

Toronto Blue Jays ML -118

Not a home play...believe me because I rarely ever bet on these guys but if you still don't trust me here, wait until you see how this team handle's the two losses to the Yankees.

  • Toronto has yet to lose three games in a row this season
  • Toronto is 12-3 in their last 15 games following a loss

Tonight we have a lefty versus lefty matchup and this is going to come down to who can pound away on who early.

Toronto is batting .307 versus lefties this season

Chicago White Sox are batting .255 versus lefties this season

John Danks is on the mound for the White Sox tonight and they have lost both his career starts against the Jays. So far this year Danks has been rocked on the road by a) Texas, where he allowed 10 hits and 5 ER's in a 5-1 loss and he has been rocked at home by the Seattle Mariners as well. He pitched well against Baltimore and Tampa Bay but those two teams really struggled when they faced Danks and the Blue Jays are hungry for some runs tonight.

Chicago has lost six straight games here in Toronto and I don't see why anyone would be on them tonight. I am going huge on the Jays in this one. Cito Gaston was badly outmanaged last night but he is not going to let that happen again tonight versus another lefty at home and the Jays have one of their best teams in years. The Jays of seasons past would lose this game tonight but they will back their young pitcher with some runs and this should be fun to watch.

Two words for Brett Cecil...CASH MONEY!

you seem to be a good capper, but the way u go about presenting your bets is horrible. if you are betting 5k a game, you come off as childish with the look at me titles, im a big shot. gl with ur plays, but the attention whoring titles ruin some of your luster.

nice. your first 5 dimer is cancelled, because you didnt know the weather, & now you follow up by betting it on a dude making this third career start.

Jdub6810 and Kiddyman232 if you don't like his way of wagering or the manner in which he presents his wager(s) then stay the hell away and refraim from your childish critical comments.
Flava has been around here longer than the both of you put together.

Brett Cecil was a first rounder 2 years ago drafted by the Jays, he was the lights out fireman for the Maryland Terps in NCAA before converting to starter.

Make no mistake about it, he's a stud. Most agree he has the right stuff mentally.

Clocks out around 93MPH with a fastball that spins down hard.
Has a nasty ass slider as well, tops out around 87 MPH, the slider is his bread and butter.
For a kid, he knows how to work both sides of the plate, has + control.

Made two starts so far this season, he shutout the A's going 8, giving up 5 hits, walking two, last week.
Prior to that, he defeated Cleveland, going 6, giving up 1 earned, no walks.

Overall in his 2 starts, he's 2-0 with an impressive 0.64 ERA and an equally impressive 0.93 ratio.

Flav is on the right side here, and I for one appreciate his efforts, because I know first hand it takes a few hours of time to 'cap these game properly, and even more time to write up it up.

Agreed kidman.....arrogant as can be. Every headline is the same. Anybody bettin 5K a game is in Vegas, gettin comped in a suite with a mound of strippers piled up. They are too busy to be typing into a computer about their greatness.
