Confused??? Rain Delay Question

Hey guys, I know this is probably a dumb question but I have the over to the rockies and pirates game and they have 7 runs so far and its only in the 2nd inning, (over 8.5).

.... all is not good however because even though I think they can get 2 more runs in the game in PITT just went on a delay. Dang rain....

My question is, is there anyway I can cash this bet if it resumes and they score another 2 runs, which would technically be over 8.5? Or would the bet be no action since the game may get canceled? Thanks for the help

Probably not. Log on to whatever sports book you used to place the bet and look at their betting rules. That'll give you the answer.

it has to go 8.5 inning for the rl and over/under bets to count.

dont listen to those idiots on gamecast, there is no rain in the forcast for pittsburg after 9pm est at the lastest, i guarantee u the game will start back up in less than an hr. guarantee!

Good to hear Kid! Yea I wish I could listen to the games or watch them would be the best but Im stuck with gamecast lol. I get alot of reds games here though@)

my buddy lives about an hour from pittsburgh and said its dumpin there and theres heavy lightning and thunder.. it could pass soon, i honestly have no idea.. i have the rockies ML so i dont even know what i want to have happen... i thought 3-0 was looking good... that disappeared in about 6 pitches

Dang good to hear man, I have weather.com pulled up and it looks like it should be about done, but I would believe someone who is actually there like your buddy. It just sucks that it has to go 8.5 innings when the over has basically already cashed
