Leaning towards on Boston tonight..... like Reds too but everyone and their mom is on Reds... who do you guys like?

like boston and most likely boston team total. mariners pitchers stats are suspect and his career vs boston is horrible. plus boston coming off 3 losses, look for them to get this one after blowing some leads.

I'm playing the odds that boston can't lose 4 in a row which they've never done this year. Lost 3 in a row twice this year, but each time came back to win the next game. Plus beckett vs an emergency starting pitcher? Don't screw me boston like you did last night!

i was going to.... but all the touts love reds tonight and that's just big no no for me.... it's very possible they can win the game against very poor padres team but i just don't like to bet on a team when whole world is on them.... i am just going to play boston tonight... gl :103631605

Touts or no touts, I'm playing the Reds tonight. I've been getting my ass handed to me for the last two weeks though, so my confidence isn't exactly soaring right now.

But the Padres haven't won two in a row since early April while the Reds haven't lost back-to-back games on the road all season long. Also, the Reds haven't lost back-to-back games in May.

Volquez had a crappy outing last Sunday against the Cards...but looking at his game log, he seems to bounce back pretty well in his next outing following a crappy one. He also allowed only one run in six innings the last time he faced the Padres in San Diego this season. All of that combines into a perfect Reds storm for me.

I realize there's a first time for everything and every one of the stats I posted could get disproven very easily tonight, but I'm not going to outsmart myself and play the Padres. Cincy is a very capable young team and much better than the Padres, who flat-out suck.
