we got 1 run back from rios.... and even though i wouldn't want my team to be down 5-0 to start the game, tigers are very potent to score 5 runs to tie the game very quick. GL

I'm on the A's...and don't feel anywhere near comfortable yet. I don't think five runs will prove to be enough to win this game...Detroit's offense is just too good.

Galarraga yanked? Really? Five earned runs in 2/3 of an inning. Nice 67.5 ERA today...

The ERA was actually 67.5...my math eluded me for a few seconds. But yeah, Galarraga is a crappy pitcher and Cahill is an up and comer. That was my logic for the play. Hope the A's can hang on.

And is it just me, or does anyone else get pissed off looking at the projected winner percentage on ESPN's gametracker? I haven't been watching the Extra innings package since my dish is messed up and DTV is coming out to install a new one this week, but I've had three games in the last few days where my team was projected to win by a 90% margin...and all three of them lost. Oakland currently at 88%...great..

Tigers go ahead 8-6. My fourth straight game where I supposedly had a 90% chance of winning, only to see it go down in flames.

90%??? where did you get that number??? like i said before, tigers are more that potent to come back from 6 run deficit...

Got back from the Tigers game. Crowd was just mum after the first 6 runs, knew the Tigers had the O to come back.

I imagined there would be a thread like this on the RX.
