Yeah sort of like the Celtics had a very good record on home court in game sevens as well---that was until tonight.

White Sox are historically the best day game team in the league. 176-136 +$3,115. They are 78-48 +$2,770 in weekday games the past 6 years.

The Blue Jays are 53-89 -$4,155 in games after Halladay starts. I lean with the Sox at +150.

A bit suspect using the last 6 years...

That record was for Boston playing in the garden ...as far as I am concerned that Boston does not play in the garden anymore

How far back would you like me to go?

I'm just hesitant to go on historical evidence for this especially since the White Sox have been a better team the last couple years than they are now. On the other side, BJs are playing much better than in years past.

Historical trends are useful to a point but I think they lose value when you go past a year, especially when you consider team makeup and such. Just my 2 cents...BOL on your pick

It's just odd you say that because I post trends simply for a year, and I get responses from posters saying "go back 4-5 years".

I guess we see eye to eye on this and that its these other posters that don't know what they are talking about. :103631605

The only play if you are touching this game is the Blue Jays ML or RL. You cannot go against them right now the way they are playing and our boy Scott Richmond is due for a good start at home.

The White Sox have now lost 8-9 straight in Toronto.

The White Sox don't have the pitching right now to a) hold the Blue Jays at bay and b) hold any kind of 1-2 run lead against this kind of offense.

Good luck man. Not a bad play. Unless the White Sox bullpen comes in and blows this thing. Richmond has a tendency to self implode in the 3rd or 4th innings but I don't see it happening today with the way the White Sox are hitting. He could have a great outing and the bullpen is fresh enough to shut the door with Ryan healthy, Downs rested and Jason Frasor listed to pitch the 7th or 8th in this one.

You should be good but I hade playing UNDER wagers with the Blue Jays because they always find a way to tack on late runs.
