Pittsburgh at Washington

71% of the public are on the Pirates yet the juice on the Nationals has risen from -112 to -118 and even higher in some places. After looking at the match up more I realize why public is all over the Pirates. It is because the Nationals have lost 4 in a row and they have not pitched well. However, the Pirates are just 5-14 in the last 19 games themselves. LHP R. Detwiler will be going for the Nats tonight. He has been called up because Olsen went on the DL and Cabrera has basically worn out his welcome. This is an important start for Detwiler at home and he goes against a team that has not been able to hit LHP! Pirates are scorign just 2.19R/9 last 5 .275avg and 2.78 R/9 .256 last 10 games. The Nationals haven't been losing because they have not been hitting. They have been losing because they haven't been pitching. The Nats 6.83 runs/9innings .283 avg last 5 games 6.71 R/9 .298 last 10 games. After all the Nationals did just face the Phillies.Hopefuuly the Nats will act like a
rubber ball & bounce back!!

NY Mets at LA Dodgers

Pitching wise, the Dodgers are quite stout. A team ERA of 3.79 is among the best in baseball. Tonight’s starter is Randy Wolf who has been very impressive. He is 2-1 with a 2.77 ERA so far. Batters are hitting only .175 off him at home this season. Last year he was 2-0 when facing the Mets with a 2.50 ERA. I expect him to pitch decently tonight, not as well as he has due to how hot NY has been, but not badly. It shouldn’t matter though as the Dodgers are all set to rock Tim Redding.

The Mets are 11-3 in their last 14 games overall. The Dodgers are 40-14 in their last 54 home games. Los Angeles are 17-6 in their last 23 games following a win. They also play great when they are supposed to, LA is 35-16 in their last 51 games when they are the favorite.

Colorado at Atlanta

The Rockies are 7-19 in the last 26 meetings in Atlanta and have dropped four in a row to the Braves as they take them on tonight. To the hill for the Rockies will be former Brave Jason Marquis, who after a nice start to the season has been rocked in his last two outings. The Braves, meanwhile, have won Lowe's last four starts as he has proved to be one of the best FA pickups of any starter on the market this past offseason.
Heavy price here for the Braves, but they are the better team here with Lowe on the mound.

(Baseball Trend ) Colorado is 3-13 after allowing seven runs or more two straight games since last season.

This is just info (below) i'm throwing at ya if anyone was playing on this game,(not a recommend play on my behalf)

( Baseball System) PLAY AGAINST road teams like Oakland, scoring 4.7 runs or less a game on the season in the American League, after allowing seven runs or more three straight games. Today’s best system is 37-9, 80.4 percent since the last original episode of “Friends” aired.
