Tommyjohn Series Chase Tracking Thread

I've finally settled on a structure for a chase and started it up last Friday but just got around to posting a tracking thread today. At this point, I am NOT recommending that anybody follow me. This is just for record keeping purposes and you're likely to see very little if any analysis posted on here. Here are the parameters:

- 3 game series chase. No more...sometimes less
- will chase both favorites and underdogs
- chase can and will include RL's
- chase will primarily focus on the Texas Rangers as that's the team I have the "best" working knowledge of. I will have a series chase play on every Rangers series
- chase will sprinkle in other teams
- game 1 of every chase will be played at $200. There won't be any 1, 3, or 5 unit plays

I see no way that padres can sweep the cubs . Good team just got swept by st louis. Sandiego cant hit at all.

I agree. Zambrano as a dog against peavy might be something good. Who knows how peavy pitches tonight after the whole trade ordeal, is head can't be completly in the game right now.

Damn Rangers blew a late lead before winning by 1 in extra innings and I now have my first real chase. Even with the loss it's a positive day as the White Sox win 2-0.

Got my ass handed to me pretty good yesterday. I was bit hesitant on playing the Rangers in this series as I was present the last time Hughes faced the Rangers and he had a no-no working through 6.1 before pulling a hamstring. Looks like he still has a good feel for pitching in Arlington. Oh well...here's to a better day today! I'll be at the Rangers/Yankees games tonight and tomorrow so hopefully I'll see a win...or two!!! :toast:

Obviously the Rangers won yesterday (before getting their ass handed to them tonight with me in person) and the Oswalt took only his 2nd career loss vs the Reds. I pulled off the Astros for today's game though and accepted the 2 game loss as I didn't like what I've seen out of them lately and didn't expect it to change today (which it didn't).
